Trademark representation
CG Fine Foods does represent in exclusivity a portfolio of premium and gourmet french products brands in the canadian market. From our beginning, we are specialized in duck and goose products, however we are increasingly diversifying by also offering pork and grocery products. Discover here the brands that we represent.
Distribution
Established in Quebec for 7 years, we now have a strong distribution network made up of more than 600 customers in Canada, with a strong concentration in Quebec and Ontario.
With a premium trend, like our products, it covers both banner stores: Loblaws, Provigo, Metro, IGA, Adonis ... as well as specialty stores: delicatessens, cheese shops, butchers, delicatessens ... .
To complement the work of our sales representatives, every day in the field to visit the stores, we do a lot of groundwork to position and reference our products in the official databases, directly with the head offices of the brands: Loblaws, Provigo, Sobeys, Metro ...
Two years ago, we created our own merchant website: www.frenchfoodsmarket.ca. It allows us to distribute our dry products directly to the end customer, throughout the country. The site is currently growing strongly and confirms our idea that the online trade is for our brand a strong lever of development complementary to our physical implementation.
Marketing and creation
With our solid regulatory knowledge, our years of experience in the Canadian market and the links that unite us with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, we produce the products labels and packaging we import while respecting all the legal obligations: list of ingredients, mention of allergens, nutrition facts table, bilingualism, origin of food. We also produce adapted product sheets and POS.
Logistics and Customs Clearance
Holder of an official permit to import meat and fish products into Canada, issued by the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), we own a wide logistical know-how to import dry, chilled and frozen products. We work in collaboration with Seafrigo France, specialist in sea and air food transport to import our products.
We manage order preparation ourselves in our warehouse of more than 20 000 square feet. We have a fleet of multi-temperature trucks (dry, fresh, frozen), the majority of deliveries are therefore made by our deliverers. We are supported by two Quebec carriers partners, Midland and Erb Transport.
Promotion
Our strength also lies in our ability to attract stores with attractive offers. Our catalog of more than 500 products and our monthly promotions are strong vectors of success.
We are also able to provide POS and set up attractive arrangements to stimulate sales. Finally, we have an experienced team of demonstrators present at the points of sale to offer activities and tastings. This type of operation makes it possible to increase brand awareness, educate about product consumption and significantly accelerate their in-store turnover. See our photo gallery .
Implementation of new ranges
We put in place extensive processes prior to the implementation of new ranges:
- Preliminary study of the opportunity to set up business: market trends, study of the competition, identification of health and customs issues, prices charged ...
- Development of labels and cases, definition of recipes and manufacturing processes in compliance with current health rules, product logistics, creation of UPC codes, choice of delivery method, storage ...
- Construction of the marketing mix: brand, product, packaging and price policies.
